Alcomel has made the supply of custom solutions in solid resin impregnated cellulose panels, better known as high pressure laminate (HPL), its very own specialty. This allows us to meet the demand of the healthcare sector for a sustainable and maintenance-friendly material. Ever since the late 1970s, Alcomel has built up a solid reputation in this sector.
The qualities of HPL
HPL becomes a homogeneous panel in the consolidation under heat and high pressure of several layers of resin impregnated paper. The panels are impervious to moisture and available in more than 100 colours and patterns.
